COMAH Implementation
COMAH Legislation was enacted on the 1st April 1999. Since that date Haztech Consultants Limited has been delivering a full range of COMAH Implementation solutions to our clients as described below. Haztech also developed the first IChemE approved training course on the practical implementation of this legislation.
We can help companies comply with COMAH in a number of ways to:
- Carry out ‘Gap’ analysis and audit to assess where a company needs to concentrate effort to comply.
- Review and help production of the Major Accident Prevention Policy and implementation of Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- Manage the report production process to help ensure the submission complies with the Competent Authority criteria. Haztech has a tried and accepted report format and template on CD which has helped numerous companies quickly structure their COMAH report submission.
- Identification of potential Major Accident Scenarios
- Consequence modeling and emergency planning
- Risk Assessment to demonstrate Risks are ALARP, (As Low As Reasonably Practicable)
- Assessment of Human Factors
